Your body naturally resists weight loss. Losing fat is far from what your body system wants to do because it is a signal of starvation. The reason behind this is because of thousands of years of revolution when our ancestors suffered from the real dangers of actual starvation then the human body developed a way to be prepared for such scenario by means of storing fat. The stored fat is also protected in such a way that it will only be used up only when necessary which means that fat is not included in your body's priority list as choice of fuel even when there is shortage of calories.
Your body is still unaware that you want to actually undergo a controlled starvation or you want to lose weight. What exists is a problem of communication between you and your body. While you have all the desire to lose weight or fat, your body does all it can to resist thinking only of protecting you to starve. The thing to do is to actually communicate with your body, but how?

One solution or way to speak to your body is by eating nutritionally rich small meal portions frequently. This will send signals that you are far from starvation which will make the body release fat to be used as fuel thinking there excess which will then result to weight loss.
Those who are knowledgeable in dieting know that losing weight means eating lesser calories than what is actually needed daily. The calorie shortage will then result to burning of calories stored in the body and of course, weight loss.
Different calories are not to be treated one and the same. By cutting on calories, the body actually diverts its fuel source to the macronutrients which are fats, protein and carbohydrates. Naturally, storing and protecting fat is a means of survival, as such, the body is well adapted to retaining fat but stubborn in losing unnecessary fat.
Our body involves a complete system of reactions to given signals which maybe caused naturally or upon intent. A major factor to consider in weight loss is by proper communication with your body. You have to send the proper signals to the body if you want to achieve weight loss successfully. There are three simple but important principles which you can follow in achieving weight loss; eat frequently, eat food with sufficient proteins and restrict your intake of calories. By these simple procedures, you are actually telling your body that you are not starving, and that there is more fat than what your body needs which then triggers it make the stored fat the fuel source to burn.
